I also have a couple kitsune masks very similar to that one.
@tk a friend of mine recommended that book and it is great for so many reasons not least a real indigenous perspective and i love the orally oriented way Prechtel writes; usually I can't stand audiobooks but I will probably get them for his books...
@tk ... gotta decide if I am going to leave the mask to charge in my office (like the black one that's been charging at home for a year) or take it add some mesh to the eyes so it looks better wearing it high on the head like

@tk I played some of them; mostly it's like if you pick a random pic out of Danbooru odds are 15% or so it is Touhou and those go up if you don't want anything NSFW -- i mean i needed something to illustrate the concept for those in the audience who wouldn't get "wear a kitsune mask like somebody in an anime" though in anime the hair shows through and when it try it my forehead shows through; not the first time I tried something i saw in an anime and it didn't work quite right!
