I got the Freedom To Buy Games GOG bundle a few months back, created in response to itch.io massively erasing porn and queer games under the pressure of Visa/Mastercard.
Only days ago I played #LeapOfFaith for the first time.

I don't remember the last time I cried over a video game (certainly happened at some point). But now I really have, and of all the possible types of games, it had to be an "adult" sim game. 🙃

Friggin' porn game being all emotional with all the feelings and the suicide and depression and relationships and stuff! And the music, the smart use of lyrics, sometimes to illustrate and others as an integral part of the story…

Side note: I say porn game half-jockingly. Like many date sim games, it contains pornographic pictures/3D animations (there is no option to disable them in this game, but the suicide chapter can be skipped) but most of the game is a visual novel (Renpy) with illustrated narration, a lot of conversations with potential romantic partners and other characters, and decisions, where you pick your answers / actions amongst a defined set with various degree of influence on the story.
There are some plot points I have not gotten (yet) since I only did two "routes", including something to do with homeland security and the main character's family… maybe.
