Some quite personal news for long-time followers and personal connections - 9 years after my initial cancer diagnosis, and six years after treatment for a recurrence, the oncology team have officially discharged me. Which is kinda NHS-speak for: I'm in remission! Yay!!

I couldn't resist seeing how it'd look as a LinkedIn post:

I am absolutely thrilled to share a profound personal milestone as I embark on this next chapter of my professional and personal journey. After a rigorous six-year period of navigating complex challenges and demonstrating unparalleled strategic resilience, I am humbled to announce that I have reached a state of full remission.

This journey has been an exercise in extreme adaptability and stakeholder management, teaching me that true growth often happens when we are forced to optimize our internal processes under the most demanding circumstances. My key takeaway from this transformative period is that adversity is not a roadblock, but a catalyst for high-impact personal evolution. I am eager to leverage this renewed clarity and vigor as I move forward with purpose and intentionality.
