@smarthomejunkie I have my Dreame A1 visible in Home Assistant. Do you plan to test any of Dreame models?
@nhoizey I just tested the Mova 1200 Ultra. Video will drop this Sunday. It can be controlled with the Dreame integration, but I do not have a Dreame mower here (yet).
@smarthomejunkie looking forward to it. Would be lovely to have a comparison on how well they avoid crippling hedgehogs in addition to home assistant compability!
@likse
+1 I will look forward to following your tests. And yes, it would be great if you could add a simulated hedgehog avoidance test.
@smarthomejunkie
@MrManor @likse I don't have a hedgehog laying around, but I tested with garden gloves until now.
@smarthomejunkie @MrManor there is a danish researcher who’s done a lot of it, maybe her research is useful! Heres an article on her test protocol https://www.mdpi.com/2076-2615/14/1/122 I had no idea this was a thing until I heard of her…. Love your videos btw!
@smarthomejunkie
I guess a dark/gray'ish glove will be a sufficient hedgehog simulator πŸ‘
