Il Fatto Quotidiano: Trump sui rapporti con l’Iran: “Su Hormuz su guadagneranno tanti soldi. Forse è l’Età dell’Oro del Medio Oriente”

Dopo l’ultimatum a Teheran che ha tenuto il mondo con il fiato sospeso, l’amministrazione Trump ha rivendicato, a seguito dell’accordo per il temporaneo cessate il fuoco, una “vittoria decisiva” per la quale “l’Iran ci ha implorato“: un messaggio dichiarato sia con un post su Truth sia nella conferenza stampa del ministro della Guerra Pete Hegseth.
Come riportato dal Corriere, il Pentagono è stato il palcoscenico di questo briefing. Dopo aver assodato che “Trump ha forgiato una vittoria con la V maiuscola” e che “l’Iran è decimato”, la conferenza stampa ha voluto puntare l’attenzione sui prossimi 15 giorni – quando scadrà il nuovo ultimatum: “In queste due settimane – ha dichiarato il capo della Casa Bianca – rimarremo da quelle parti”, facendo riferimento allo schieramento delle truppe Usa vicino all’Iran per fare pressione sulla tregua.
Sui canali Truth invece si parla di diplomazia. Trump ha infatti scritto: “Gli Stati Uniti lavoreranno a stretto contatto con l’Iran, che secondo noi ha attraversato quello che sarà un cambio di regime molto produttivo! Non ci sarà alcun arricchimento dell’uranio e gli Stati Uniti, collaborando con l’Iran, dissotterreranno e rimuoveranno tutta la polvere nucleare sepolta in profondità. Ora è, ed è stato, sotto una sorveglianza satellitare molto rigorosa”. Il tycoon ha poi toccato il tasto economico: “Stiamo parlando e continueremo a parlare di riduzione dei dazi e delle sanzioni con l’Iran. Molti punti sono già stati concordati.”
Trump non ha poi nascosto di voler fare dello stretto di Hormuz “una joint venture” grazie alla quale “ci saranno molte azioni positive! Si guadagneranno tanti soldi“. Secondo il Presidente, fiducioso per ciò che verrà, “questa potrebbe essere l’Età dell’Oro del Medio Oriente!”.

Following the ultimatum in Tehran that kept the world on edge, the Trump administration claimed a “decisive victory” following the agreement for a temporary ceasefire, for which “Iran begged us”: a message declared both in a post on Truth and in a press conference by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.

As reported by Corriere, the Pentagon was the venue for this briefing. After establishing that “Trump forged a victory with a capital V” and that “Iran is decimated,” the press conference sought to focus attention on the next 15 days – when the new ultimatum expires: “During these two weeks – said the head of the White House – we will remain there,” referring to the deployment of US troops near Iran to pressure the truce.

On Truth channels, discussions are focused on diplomacy. Trump wrote: “The United States will work closely with Iran, which we believe will undergo a very productive regime change! There will be no uranium enrichment and the United States, collaborating with Iran, will unearth and remove all nuclear debris buried deep. Now it is, and it has been, under very strict satellite surveillance.” The tycoon then addressed the economic issue: “We are talking and will continue to talk about reducing tariffs and sanctions with Iran. Many points have already been agreed upon.”

Trump did not hide his desire to make the Strait of Hormuz a “joint venture” through which “there will be many positive actions! They will make a lot of money.” According to the President, confident in what is to come, “this could be the Golden Age of the Middle East!”
