I don't think Harry had whole episodes built around intense physical suffering the way Miles did. But I certainly think his character is the one worst served by the show he was on! 😂 His love life (or lack thereof), his career advancement (or lack thereof), and the weird deaths and diseases he suffered! Unparalleled.

Ensign Kim had a tough time of it. When he wasn't actively getting screwed, he had the daily insult of not getting promoted.
Seemed like stuff was always happening to Seven. Either conflict with the crew, Borg tech getting wonky, or the Queen's weird obsession with her.
T'Pol suffered, but she didn't acknowledge it.
Novels could be written about Geordi's love life :^D

Same with favorite characters. Getting 4 is easy. Figuring out #5 is a bit of a stumper.

I lean towards Scotty. Garak is awesome, but he doesn't get much time. T'Pol is really interesting to watch. I like the way she moves. Phlox is quirky and cool. Quark??? Unconventional, but lots of depth. Probably Scotty

Dukat is one of the most interesting characters in the franchise (the 40% or so that I've seen) imo. Extremely captivating whenever he's onscreen. Testament to Alaimo's performance through all the prosthetics.

Hard to call a villain a "favorite", but you're right. He could even be likeable, but then he'd turn around and screw you all over again. Lots of layers to that guy.

Yeah, it would be much easier for me to pick my five *least* favorite episodes. 😂 (Though I won't, for fear of offending someone. Also, I agree with lxskllr, those five are awesome.)
There are some episodes I love simply for giving the actors some room to showcase their skill in expanding their characters. Like "infinite Regress" or "Body and Soul" for Seven, and "Faces" and "Extreme Risk" for B'Elanna.

That's why I like a top 5 list. 1 is too few. You just say "Hell if I know", and abandon the project.

With 5, you get a very small assortment so you can have different styles, but cuts will have to be made. It focuses attention on what you really value, and how much you value it.

Years ago, I used to do this with my partner at work. We'd get rain time, or just not feel like working, and we'd compile best-of lists sitting in the truck. We had a notebook full of arcane lists of just about anything in life :^D

That's the best I an do with specifics. I like fig preserves, but they aren't super common, so I get whatever brand I can. The Danes seem to do a good job with preserves. I get whatever brand from them, favoring currant.

We are a toast and jam centric family. 😁 I could have done 10, with a lime marmalade and cherry preserves starting the second half of the list, and then maybe rose hip jam, blueberry, and apricot.

I get in and out of moods with it. The Trappist Preserves are a firm favorite though. I was recently looking on their website about shipping(they do). It's become hard to find in the local stores around here.

Someone said something about Harry Kim not being the original by the end of Voyager.
In DS9, O'B picks up 20 years of memory in 45 minutes (Hard Time). In Visionary, he finds himself 5 hrs in the future but fails to save his future self iirc. Or the other way around. He takes the place of his dead self, gaining or losing 5 hrs in the process.
