why the fuck is "matzo not suitable for passover" a thing

who looks at matzo and thinks "hm, yes, I'd like to have this OUTSIDE of when I'm religiously required to"

there's too many boxes for it to be some niche strain of masochism

@dzamie And yet it is, alas.

I had an experience, earlier in my life, where a supermarket accidentally put the non-Passover matzo on the passover display and didn't realize it till halfway thorugh the holiday. Taught me to read the boxes more closely when I'm buying in unfamiliar areas.

OTOH, my youngest'll happily eat matzo all year long. 🤷‍♂️
