Dear National Broadcaster.

The richest woman in Australia has no expertise in war, international or domestic law. She is a private person with no qualifications beyond a high school certificate and an inherited fortune.

What she thinks of Ben Roberts Smith is for her private musings. It is not news and there is no requirement for you to publish her missives on it.

@Ex_spurt PS. "Stop being the PR department for deranged rich people"

@Ex_spurt

But, but, she owns One Nation. So her opinion must be worth two Kerry Stokes.

@Arapalla that's a bunch of media darlings right there

@Ex_spurt

Just need Clive and James to speak up and we'll be right at home.

@Ex_spurt agree.
What scum she is
@Ex_spurt
Omg I’m glad I didn’t see it!
@feather1952 heard it on ABC radio. Guardian are printing it too

@Ex_spurt
She doesn't think we should try and convict war criminals because … people don't want to join the army any more.

Seriously missing some cause and effect there.

@negative12dollarbill I think war crime allegations being glossed over and murderers walking free is worse for recruiting.
@Halaana
Well exactly. Seeing a psychopath get a medal and the whistleblowers getting bullied into mental illness? It would be terrible for the image of the forces. Cleaning house can only improve things.
@Ex_spurt have we heard from Dawn Fraser and Sam Newman yet?
@Ex_spurt Watch the media manufacture consent for the populist right so that the Epstein class can glut itself on the wealth of Australia once the people are deceived onto believing the lies promising them simple solutions to complex problems.

Okay then, here's a simple solution: wealth tax.

@Ex_spurt

I feel like the artist really captured her aversion to war criminals being held responsible for war crimes

@KneeNeart @Ex_spurt I think the artist should add a little BRS on there ala Goya ...

Saturn Devouring His Son - Wikipedia

@KneeNeart @Ex_spurt There's a NZ series on the ABC called " Small Town Scandal" that has a character just like Gina. The little girl voice, the hair ...
@Ex_spurt I just had this very grumble regarding The Guardian.

@Ex_spurt
She thinks she's special.because she oversees some big mining interests. Listen porky, you aren't special. Anyone left the same inheritance could make a couple of dollars out of that.

The whole stake should have been, and should still be, nationalised. The money going to public services, not private bank accounts.

@Ex_spurt The richest woman in Australia has nothing beyond a high school certificate and daddy's billions... yet somehow she's strutting around as 'Dr Gina Rinehart'. Must be a PhD in bullshitting from the University of Self-Promotion (honorary, of course — the only kind she could get).
@Ex_spurt CEO says a thing ahhh media

@Ex_spurt As she likes to meddle in politics so much, I think it is in the national interest for her odious opinions to make it into the news.

But it needs to be reported pretty negatively.

@Ex_spurt clearly, Gina has a point. Army guys are employed to murder people, how could that possibly be a war crime? Further, Gina has been funding BRS's abuse of legal process, therefore she is correct. Money is speech.
