NYT reporting that under this ceasefire each ship will pay $2M to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. It was $0 before Trump launched this illegal war.

100-130 ships pass the Strait daily.

Trump just gave Iran an extra $100M-$130M per day. Masterful gambit, sir. Impeach and remove this fascist, NOW.

@QasimRashid slight correction? Wouldn't it be $200-260M per day if it's $2M per boat?

@admin @QasimRashid no; per Iran's 10 point plan (which the regime rejected in totality this morning I'll note,) they will split the revenue 50/50 with Oman with funds being earmarked to repair damage from the conflict first.

Note that Iran and Oman have pretty much always been friendly and cooperative with each other, *even now*.

@admin @QasimRashid I will also note that the US can't even attempt to fulfill some of them.
- Israel must immediately and permanently leave and never attack Lebanon or other countries friendly to Iran
- A permanent lifting of all sanctions (not just US or Israeli)
- A permanent guarantee that neither the US, Israel, or their allies will attack Iran again

And of course, the most non-negotiable item of all from the regime's standpoint:
- the US must pay reparations

@rootwyrm @QasimRashid ah, I see. Thanks for the clarification.

@QasimRashid

Gosh, it's almost like 47 is on the side of Iran & Russia just like some of us have been saying for years...

@QasimRashid
So the shipping companies would pass the bill along to us the consumers?
@garywhittaker @QasimRashid this is a great point. $2M per ship paid by our government (our taxes) or shipping companies (our purchase). Iran’s ask for it, to fix bombed infrastructure, is reasonable. Wish there was a way to make mango Mussolini pay directly.

@QasimRashid

With deal making of this caliber...

Certainly explains how the FUCKING MORON could bankrupt several casinos...

🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤡🫏🖕🖕💩💩

@QasimRashid

The “Art of the Deal”, ladies and gentlemen.

@QasimRashid Iran already charging this and allowing passage for non-aligned vessels, eh?
@QasimRashid So it will be other countries who will pay for damage done by America! Nice!?

@QasimRashid
Am I missing something here? Trump’s announcement sounded like he took Iran’s list of demands as a mere starting point for negotiations during the ceasefire instead of as conditions for the ceasefire itself.

Also, unless China were acting as a neutral party in the negotiations and committing to hold both parties accountable for any agreement, why on earth would Iran trust the US and Israel?

@QasimRashid

I hope American, Israeli, UK, German, Italian, and French ships crossing the Strait of Hormuz are charged an extra millon for being complicit in Gaza's destruction and it goes to rebuild Gaza. #Palestine

@QasimRashid
#iran will use this money for reparations, the vandalism carried out by USRAEL is into billions now, and there is zero chance the robe state of USRAEL will pay.
