Surprised to see Dave’s Garage talking about this today. He suggests that developers have a lot more to deal with than we did 20+ years ago, but eventually concludes that if we'd carried the scarcity of old school software development to modern hardware standards, we'd have a much better ecosystem. And I agree on both: yes, there are more things to deal with, when building a web page in 2026 than in 2016. But also a lot of things have become easier and better. https://youtu.be/t992ul_IKtc
