@chebra
we don't want to leave EU. We want systemic change in the Hungarian leadership.
@hajovonta @chebra @noelreports Keeping everything crossed for you to succeed and also: yes, exactly.

@Veza85UE
hope it turns out okay. However, both Hungarians and the EU should seriously rethink and change a series of things.
@hajovonta 💯 I spend my days complaining about just that on the EU side of things, but yes, absolutely.
Starting with no longer sacrificing EU Rule of Law to mercantilism. Which they're even too incompetent to do properly, all this only to cling to their obsolete business model and lose the EV market to China. *sigh*

@Veza85UE
I am certain a lot of things are not done right in the EU, but believe me, Orban's model is not the solution.
@chebra @noelreports Europeans like Ferenc Kőszeg, Áron Varsányi and millions like them have done more to fight for democracy than anyone bloviating on the internet about their place in the EU from the comfort of their living room. They want to keep their EU citizenship and they have my full support.
@chebra Nobody's asking you to march on Budapest or do election monitoring for the opposition. But a little self-awarness wouldn't hurt. There are 26 people from outside of Hungary who absolutely could DO something about it, they just choose not to. If you're an EU citizen, at least 1 out of those 26 people works for you.
