1) 20 mins of aerobic exercise
2) Bedroom window slightly open
3) Completely dark bedroom (or use an eye mask). Use ear plugs too if there's any unavoidable noise.

I can't do the ear plug and mask thing but window open all year (esy for me to say in AUS).
Yet, I still live w insomnia.

Avoiding blue light when trying to sleep is also thought by some to help. Personally, I only ever use red lights at night.
(Something which is very easy with modern LEDs.)
