Been working on my Linux machine for 3 months now at work - comp. physics, hpc, etc.
Tried working on my MBP yesterday (after around 5 months of not using it for development) - while a superior machine h/w wise, I really couldn't stand macOS.
Linux just works - better even.

I couldn’t agree more. I use my mbp m3 strictly for streaming as the major streaming platforms only provide low res video to Linu🐈 x.
Mac OS is too black box for me. How they could screw up basic unix os so bad is beyond me. The hardware is excellent, I really wish Asahi Linux was available for the M3. I’ll probably catch flack for this… oh well my personal preference. 🙄

@amartya same, even after 4 years, and liking the hardware quite a lot, I can't completely feel comfortable on MacOS
