Excellent guide to flying yellow stripey things.
Can confirm everything said about Paper Wasps â˜šī¸ - also stings may/ can reactivate old stings by some ants. Best to stay right away if you see them or their nests. 😐

@Su_G yeh i first encountered paper wasps in perth (not sure if we get them in vic..?)

sting was nasty but no evidence of penetration and was more like a burn than a sting and faded fairly quick

reactivating old stings is a weird one i've not heard of before
