Finally tore the plaster [band aid] off, and have moved the majority of my email stuff from Google to Fastmail today. Went pretty smoothly!

I haven't found an ideal replacement for Google Tasks yet; as simple as it is, I really liked having tasks inline in my calendar, but @fastmail doesn't have that.

One minor thing I'm struggling to get used to: email labels and calendar colours are always "muted". E.g. You pick a colour, say #ff0000 for a calendar, but the events will render as like #ffdddd with just an accent & text colour of #ff0000. If I wanted #ffdddd, I'd have set the colour to that!

@asgrim @fastmail I use Obsidian and its Daily Note for tasks, and the Kanban plugin for more advanced project organization.

+1 for fastmail though, I'm very happy with it
