Encountered a person on Mastodon who said Mastodon should be inclusive of "AI" users. So I blocked him

Why do people shouting "but freedom!" never understand that this is reciprocal?
They are free to say what they want - and we are free to listen or not.
They are free to post as much AI-slop as they want to - and we are free to not follow.

And if nobody's interested in their AI-slop it's their problem not ours.
Shouldn't be too hard to understand.

But I guess as them being used to being the biggest bully on the playground they are not used to the experience of being not wanted.

It is our problem, a big one. One human setting up the #siliconiac agent is wreaking havoc to the servers, to the users, to the environment, and this way to every user of the Fediverse whether they follow, not follow, mute or block. The troll user can spit some hate here and there, some 20 posts per hour. Single siliconiac agent can do hundreds per minute on many servers, it will follow you to get fatter on your posts to mimic you later, then it eventually will get some followers that are less aware of the evils lurking.

> Them being used to being the biggest bully
They are. For your as a taxpayer money, for the polluted air you will breathe, for the arid desert made where their silicon bodies now hum.

@ohir
You're right.
I did not mean to disregard these facts.
That's why I block AI every way I can. And why I refuse to use it.

In this post, I put my focus on the human factor because it was this attitude I found disgraceful.

We're on the same page.
