1. The next version of @sascharode1986's free SDF Modeler will have a text primitive, and you will be able to choose any True Type font, including glyph / wingdings fonts, adding quite some possible extruded 2D shapes to your SDF modeling arsenal. 👍

3. Last but not least… An alpha version of MathOPS has been released to a closed testing team. And I'm impressed.

MathOPS comes as a custom Blender build, with the advantage that custom C++ code can be used to speed things up.

Among MathOPS features are SDF modifiers, such as Bend, Twist and Displacement. Very cool stuff I haven't seen in any other SDF modeling tool yet.

Exciting times for SDF modeling! I'm happy SDF is gaining popularity. 🥲
