(he has a long thread on X, which I'll not link here, and could not read myself, but it appears to be well covered in the international press) I'll just trust that their summary is correct, which amounts to Trump being inclined to mimick Putin's approach of having a false flag terror strike in the US and then overthrow the remaining democratic controls, /2

I am mainly asking because it seems extremely plausible to me (there could also be other pretenses for the coup, like another fake story about a 'stolen' election AFTER the mid terms, etc.). But I have no real expertise about coups, nor about the US, and would like to have a more expert check on my gut feeling. Thanks.
