Grant Cardone's Real Estate Company Opens Door To Bitcoin Investments As It Continues Toward 10K BTC Goal
Real estate guru Grant Cardone says his Cardone Capital real estate company now accepts Bitcoin for investments. "Cardone Capital real estate firm now accepts bitcoin," Cardone said on March 30 on X. "The groups is first to scale a Real Estate BTC Hybrid now allows investors to use BTC to invest." The move opens the door for investors with significant Bitcoin savings to leverage their holdings without selling first, which could trigger a tax event. It also entrenches Bitcoin deeper into Cardone’s business. Over the past year, Cardone has launched hybrid funds holding Bitcoin and real estate. "The group completed five deals in the last year and bought over 1000 BTC," he said on March 30.
Cardone has integrated Bitcoin into his business, saying he sees it as a store of value and a differentiator. According to him, the digital asset brings liquidity to the typically illiquid real estate market. He has also said that it potentially opens the opportunity for greater returns. In March, Cardone suggested that Cardone Capital was employing a monthly Bitcoin-buying strategy for its hybrid funds. He has said that he ultimately intends to combine 15,000 apartment units with 10,000 BTC across 10 funds. So far, Cardone Capital has launched four of the funds, three of which have already been oversubscribed.
