@bloodravenlib wanting to still go to baseball games a few times a year is the *only* reason I still have an iPhone.

The tyranny of profit is to blame for this situation. The Dodgers and all sports teams should value their fans more than their bottom line, though we all know how that plays out.

Saying 'spend hundreds of dollars on technology, give in to having your movements and use of that technology tracked so someone else can make money' is unacceptable. It has been normalized. We should think more about that, and why we find it acceptable.

It isn't acceptable.
