On 29 March, the #Mals/Malles 🇮🇹 - #Meran/Merano railway line reopened for passenger service after five months of construction works. However, the electrification works are not yet finished and DMUs are still in operation.

Due to technical issues, currently only a two-hourly service is provided, an most of the trains run only between Lasa/Laas and #Merano/Meran.

@claudsch the electrification is finished, they are waiting for the Coradia Stream trains from Alstom.
But also after that, you will still see some Stadler GTW on the line, because the Stadler Flirt need to get ETCS and 25kv to run there.
