The library is holding its big book sale next month. Every time I tell someone this, I think I should be nominated for sainthood. Or the Nobel Prize in Reader Solidarity. It's every reader for themselves as we attack those stacks of books on the jumble-sale tables. I shouldn't be inviting competition.

@ygathgoch Am already in training, elbowing strangers aside on the street and in shops and in buses, just to be sure my strategy is finely-tuned on book sale day.
