Observation: Some of the briefings I get sent for potential design/dev projects became much more extensive and detailed in the last 1–2 years, often including adjacent tasks that are not typically part of my service offering, and loads of nice-to-haves. I think this is AI influence.

If I quote according to all the demands in these briefings, the quote gets unrealistically high quickly. As a result, more communication work is needed nowadays to get to a realistic agreement for both sides.

Does the willingness to pay more for expanded project scopes decreased or increased in parallel? How has the overall payment morale evolved in recent years?

@Chrtz Don’t know if increased or decreased, but what I can say for sure is that no one is willing to pay for the scope of the initial brief. So there’s lots of adjustments necessary, and oftentimes collaboration already fails before this point.
