7 days jeez. I missed April 1st. Anyways I haven't done a lot of battery stuff since I was out of cash but from before I started learning about rechargeable batteries and chargers, I'm pretty confident to say rechargeables are awesome and fuck alkalines. They leak & suck when they're dead

While on that note, I remember being curious about batteries and oddly lightbulbs back in 2008 or '09. My cousins bought a ton of Duracells one time & they were kind to give a lot of packs to us but man they all leaked over time.
I remember those batteries leaked that blue shit. The leaks smell like cockroaches living in an old cardboard box for years with a strong hint of metal dipped in some kind of water or some shit. The leaks smell "old" overall
But they had one cool thing where you have to press a circle thingy to know whether the battery still got a charge but eh. They all leaked so what's the point, lol.
What sucks about rechargeables though is that they're kinda expensive, especially eneloops but I read they last a long time so they're probably worth the cost but still. I don't earn much to be comfortable buying stuff I won't even use right away. Plus they might get lost or misplaced..
As for 18650 stuff though, I got a pair of these guys back in I think March 31. Idk, it's been a while. Time's pretty slow like honey when you're not terminally online.
I tested em and I got 3969 and 3988 mAh. They took about ~13 hours to grade on my VX4 charger lol.
I used my "reserve cash" to buy these, but it was well spent and now I use em on my own portable fan that I use when I sleep

I read higher capacity cells trade cycles but it'll be a while till I notice, plus, I also have a pair of these too. I bought em when I was new to 18650's, like less than a week new
It'll be like what I do with fusion cores in Fallout 76 when I use Power Armor. Charge up the drained cores on the fusion core recharger, chuck in the fully charged ones on the armor and it's good for a long while.

It just sucks you cant use Fusion Cores as grenades that explode like mini nukes in Fallout 76 like in Fallout 4 lol. There's no nuclear physicist in 76.
Maybe if I spend more time with the 18650's, I might actually be able to make a makeshift grenade out of the 48 18650 cells I have in storage lolololol.

Oh yeah I noticed battery enthusiasts are also flashlight enthusiasts. Frankly I haven't got a need for flashlights cos I can see in the dark. I'm a bear lol.
But I need fans so I can lie down on the couch without waking up just to drink water or take a piss. Don't like AC's cos those make me sleepy.
