While Trans Day of Visibility 🏳️‍⚧️ is technically 3/31, we would benefit from recognizing our trans siblings, neighbors, colleagues more often. And I will publicly be proud throughout the year as long as bigots are out here attacking people. (Believe there are at least 500 anti-LGBTQ+ bills under consideration throughout the U.S. right now.)
One thing to note: You can’t know someone is trans by looking at them. Also, “passing” as man or woman isn’t necessarily a goal for the trans person.
