Love to see people using vibe coding tech to build tools to fight back against the government.

Opposing ICE Might Save the Country. It Could Also Ruin Your Life

For months, lone vibe coder Rafael Concepcion has obsessively built tools to counter the federal immigration crackdown—pivoting as he’s been outmatched. He’s also lost his job and become a target.

@taylorlorenz I agree wholeheartedly with his sentiment. He's vibe coding his way into bankruptcy, though, and he's using AI to write code he doesn't fully understand that will be used in a security context which makes the programmer and security nerd in me weep.
@taylorlorenz I notice you're not doing any "vibe writing." You don't seem to be just LLM-ing out reams of content and publishing. Why not?
@taylorlorenz the image and "lone" description immediately made me think of Manousos from Pluribus.

@taylorlorenz

Why? For the 3k in monthly BLACKBOXLLM subs or the unaudited code security threat to app users?

Sounds like this well intentioned guy got scammed.
