Well, that was an interesting adventure in electronics! This took about 3 days, but I finally got serial terminal output with one of the Dragonboard 410c I got given as junk! An interesting process, including making my own 1.8V USB->Serial on a breadboard with a level shifter! I finally got the bootloader up!

Still can't get it to boot Arch Linux ARM though. It's complaining about dtbs in the boot log.

Okay, I didn't get Arch Linux Arm to work at all, but PostmarketOS worked instantly! Beautiful!

Hell yes!
@kelpana nice! pmOS is such a great project!
@ahoneybun yes, I am impressed with how straightforward it was to install. It has won over Arch for this board. I know the Dragonboard 410c is "old" but I got six for free and I want to make use of them - they would have been WEED otherwise and they all appeared to be brand new.
@kelpana with those specs I think I would deploy one per application that I wanted to serve like Navidrome and a few others low usage.
@ahoneybun I have some plans to build some breakout boards for the High Speed I/O riser (eg to connect a Raspberry Pi camera). I'll also probably use it as nodes to dogfood the VPN software I work on for one of my clients (I mostly work on the UI for that though).
