@Suzan "Curse you WEM and your 'just shove it in the box' philosophy!"
@RogerBW I’m pretty sure I put it back all nice and neat. And also, we don’t go around shaking boxes, so how this happened is a mystery!
@Suzan @RogerBW Blame the cat.
@darkpact @RogerBW My go-to for someone to blame is usually @eerko 🀣
@Suzan
So he blames the cat? 😏
πŸ’ Chain of command...
@darkpact @RogerBW @eerko
@Suzan
Thinking about this, considering everything I read about house cats... I guess the proper chain of command says that the cat blamed @Suzan in the first place... 😜
@darkpact @RogerBW @eerko
@ronald @darkpact @RogerBW @eerko If the cat did it, it would proudly admit it, and say they’ll do it again 🀣
@Suzan secret tip for these kind of boxes. After you punch everything out, put the empty punch boards under the insert. That way the insert sits flush against the box lid. It makes it harder (though not impossible) for this kind of mess to happen.
@Suzan next night will be horrible, I will have nightmares...
@bundeskater It was sorted in no time! No need for nightmares.
@Suzan noooooooooo!
@kimu Fortunately, it looked worse than it was really.
@Suzan know this from DOMINION πŸ˜…πŸ™ˆ
@kimthefu Ow no, that’s even worse to sort out again, those card backs are all the same!
@Suzan Seems like a well designed plan went horribly wrong. I've seen similar on Nova Era.
@Suzan First Class. Every Fucking Time. #boardGames
@golgaloth @Suzan Some games require this. Sweeping all of the Tetris pieces for Rebuilding Seattle into the box, WEM style, is the only way to keep your sanity.
@urbanfuzzy @golgaloth @Suzan Splendor: looks like the insert will help, but it is just there so don't think about the amount of air in the box.
@mxfraud @golgaloth @Suzan yeah, that one lulls you into a false sense of security.

@Suzan this brings back memories of an experience at Essen.

We were at the Rio Grande stall (so yes, that was quite a while ago) and were being taught a game. We spent the entire teaching time sorting out the LARGE number of pieces so the next people would have an easier time.

As we left the table somebody came along and swept all the bits into the box!
