Al Jazeera is reporting the US pilot was rescued.
Not sure if it can be believed.
Is it a ploy for the people to give up and go home?
Is it carefully worded to mean one of the two downed pilots was rescued / found?
Yesterday some were reporting huge bombing in the area suggesting a Hannibal Directive-like strategy to kill the pilot rather than have him/her captured.

It's hard to know who is telling the truth.
The team that found the pilot were stranded because their helicopters were damaged (IRI claim)
The first 2 AC-130J sent to rescue were damaged (mechanical according to US)
3 planes (1 tanker + 2 transport) were sent to pick them up.
That's all that is certain.
US claims that they all left unharmed and left by destroying the stranded planes and helicopters
Iran claims 10 killed, 30+ injured (including the pilot).
