Phones are so ridicuously large now, they should ALL come with a PopSocket as standard.

Seriously.

#PopSocket

@andycarolan I miss my 12 mini.

@alexandra Yeah, you may have mentioned that before lol

I don't know why Apple does things like the iPhone Air, but not the Mini any more. Zero sense.

@andycarolan Yeah, a few times. 😝 I guess they have their own logic of what they’re doing, but they don’t seem to listen to the buying public.

@andycarolan I’m just about comfortable with 16 pro size, which is approx iPhone 6/7 Plus size #MykeWasRight - I desperately want the bigger screen or the pro max but the size would annoy me in the long term I think.

That and I can get the bigger storage smaller phone for same price as entry level larger phone

@bengillam Great if you’re happy with such a sized device. I do sometimes wish my phone was smaller… but most of the time, at least with the Popsocket, it’s fine :)

@andycarolan I think for me the size is mainly important for the screen size. I certainly couldn’t go back to a low res iPhone 4/4s type size again.

Never tried a pop socket, kind of feel like it might be annoying in longer term, phone not laying fully flat etc.

@bengillam Yeah, I think a smaller size phone would upset a lot of people lol.

Stability is no worse than a camera bump tbh.

@andycarolan Good point I didn’t consider that 😂

What do you make of foldables? Does that appeal to you?

I never had a flip back in the day so never really been a thing for me, that and the tech still seems a bit flakey.

I was always a “candy bar” phone guy until I got the iPhone 3G before that I had a Sony Ericsson w810i , which was pretty good phone for the time. Could fit loads of other stuff in my pocket, not worry about scratching it lol

@bengillam lol

Foldable phones… I think the crease would bother me immensely… I don’t even like smudges or dust on my screen, so a line all the way across it would melt my brain.

Oh yes, the Walkman phones were awesome… I had one, different model though.
