It's not the first time Canada has sent tree seeds to space. Many tree seeds have traveled to and from space.

@AskPippa 😂 Somebody needs to have a talk with one particular editor or someone there. I laughed out loud as the voiceover referred to the red maple, the iconic tree from the Canadian flag, as the video showed a Japanese maple, a completely (and obviously) different leaf shape. Maybe I'm a little more particular about trees than the average viewer, but--it's a piece specifically about trees, so...

You are pointing out what you say is the true identification for a tree. Are you being a Sasquatch?

The Canadian astronaut has that symbol on his patch, indicating "honesty". (I don't quite understand this choice for a space program.)

That's where I saw it.

"Bigfoot – Honesty
Sasquatch or Bigfoot – Sabe or “giant” in the Ojibway language – represents the importance of honesty and being true to one's word. Say what you mean and be honest with yourself and others."

How is Sasquatch (or Bigfoot) a symbol for honesty? That is what I do not understand.

@Earl @ZenHeathen Different culture, different way of thinking of things. The Eagle is love, which is new to me. Maybe the 'giant' represents the giant level of importance in society honesty should have? Maybe be who you appear to be -- be honest that way?
