Lower falls at Wallace Falls State Park, Washington.

I went for a hike here and was struck by how the trail keeps you close to the Wallace River before opening to this view through the trees. It is one of those places that feels deep, green, and full of motion.

@carlprothman Silver Falls in Mt Rainier NP are great, and the falls that are just up above Lake Crescent Lodge in the Olympics are nice too

@carlprothman When I lived in the area, I'd drive by that park many times, but never got a chance to hike it. Wow, it's beautiful!

@carlprothman I always enjoyed Franklin Falls for it's quick and easy hike with a lovely (but freezing) waterfall at the end
