Morning transplanting is done πŸ‘©β€πŸŒΎπŸ’šπŸ‘
There's bok choy, sui choy, Chinese mustard greens & baby bok choy.
All transplanted to remediated soil area - it used to be lawn grass with crappy soil with too much clay. Now, I'm growing food on it 😁

It's so nice out. I'm going to do more transplanting. Green onions are next. I'll get started on some salad/Asian greens in containers too πŸ‘©β€πŸŒΎ
All done transplanting for now. Going to wash up & get ready for pickup to check out migratory birds & camas ecosystem nature walk πŸ˜€πŸ’šβœŒοΈ

@PhoenixSerenity

We're catching up: the frogs are croaking in the pond.

But with -13Β°C low forecast for Tuesday, I'm not planting anything out, yet.

@PhoenixSerenity these look so good! our weather has been a roller coaster and our cole crop transplants have been looking real upset :')
@strangerock I'm a happy gardening gal, this morning! I'll be working on some of my container gardening stuff, tomorrow πŸ‘©β€πŸŒΎ
@PhoenixSerenity I hope your gardening is fruitful this year! I'd definitely love to see how your container gardening goes~
@strangerock I'll update, through the season πŸ‘©β€πŸŒΎπŸ’š
@PhoenixSerenity we've been eating a lot of something that here they spell 'pak choi'. Really nice, lovely delicate creamy flavour. I steam the 'leaves' very lightly as they wilt away really quickly if done too long. Is it any relative of the choys you mentioned?
@nigelharpur Yes, I grow that too. Sowing more seeds every 2 weeks for sustainable, perpetual harvests πŸ‘©β€πŸŒΎπŸ’š
@PhoenixSerenity great stuff! I must look into the others. For some (good!) reason pak choi has really caught on in the UK, all our large supermarkets stock and sell it. As Nettie has quite severe osteoporosis we were pleased to see it up near the top of 'good calcium' foods, we love it anyway! πŸ˜πŸ‘
