Think of what you are interested in and search for it using a hashtag. For instance just click on:

When you see a good post, just follow that account. It's that simple. You can also follow hashtags.

Thanks for mentioning this. Mastodon has been making some big improvements lately, like quote posting, due to an expanded engineering team. And, these new features are exciting.

That said, Mastodon has a very different approach to rolling out improvements. Since safety and privacy are key concerns, new features are carefully designed, implemented and tested so as not to expose users to abuse. The user community is consulted and a lot of attention is paid to constructive feedback.

@mastodonmigration Also: Support for these new features generally depends on your home instance. Some instances run the "latest and greatest" nightly builds while others take a more "stable" approach.
