Another #FrüchteFreitag post ... On Wednesday, I finally managed to dig up all my #JerusalemArtichokes. At least, I hope I did! 😂 There were way too many, so I asked in our village chat group if anyone wanted some #tubers, and within 15 minutes, a lady came to pick up a bag. 😀

I roasted a few but made the mistake of not peeling them first. It was disgusting, the peel was really bitter. 😫 Still, I've kept some to try again (peeled this time), and I reckon they'll be really good. I'll also plant a few more, but this time in a container.

@[email protected] I wanted to try that too! I added some to a potato soup a while ago, and it was really good. I wasn't aware of the windy side effects though 😅

I made mashed potatoes with some of them in once, that was a nice touch to a classic.

Yeah, I've no doubt that I missed some! 😂 They also grew in the neighbouring lot, oops!
