Bob Tregilus@ewen Nice photos! I've got two young friends staying with me for the next couple of days. Her house sale closed on the first but their flight to Kyoto isn't until Saturday. Two more people going expat and getting the hell out of the US. She is bringing her cats to Japan. The specialty veterinarian for doing the travel paperwork told her she'd never been so busy with people relocating elsewhere in the world. I'd relocate in a heartbeat if I were younger. Enjoy Japan, it's a beautiful country!

I think I would enjoy living here too. My wife loves Japan but she's more realistic about the degree to which foreigners can fit into society and feel included. I think it'll always be a great place to visit for me.
