In 1974 ABBA entered the big stage and won the Eurovision Song Contest with Waterloo, which became their first global hit.
I have never ever listened to the Swedish version of the title track, but I am doing so now and it adds another layer of awesomeness.

Anyways, I absolutely love the sound of the bass on their albums. It's such a distinct 70s bass that sounds even better on vintage speakers. At least that's what I could imagine.

A medley closes a fantastic album called "ABBA" made by ABBA.
Man In The Middle was my highlight, but overall it's a pretty strong album. Seems like they were experimenting a lot (Tropical Loveland, Rock Me) so this album had some surprises left for me.

that must be ironic because Björn& Benny voted their own song as the worst ever released. Take instead "My Mama said". Abba was always critizised for trivial cheap love songs only. Waterloo has really more than this. Not because Björn & Benny singing 4 out of 10. This is the only album with first and last singing of Bennys voice!
And concerning Artemis Moonflight there is a nice answer to 1st Man on Moon.
No no greedy schlager but a real hymn about astronauts.
