So there's KeepassXC, keepass2Android, keepass, and keepassdx, and probdbly others. I can't find reliable source of meaningful comparison data.

Any suggestions? Looks like keepass XC is "best"? I have no need for more than basics including attached files.

@tomjennings using #keepass2android for a long time because of the embedded cloud sync option. But that can be also handled in other ways. On Linux #KeepassXC. For me a perfect combination also covering the basic needs you mentioned.
As keepass2android is only on google play, i also thought about switching to #keepassDX from the @IzzyOnDroid repository. Comparisons I know are mainly from the german @heiseonline or @heisec magazine
@geotux That is the combination I use, and am happy with. I use no "cloud sync", though, but rather sync locally (via ADB (using my own https://codeberg.org/izzy/adbsync there, but alternatives to that do exist of course) @tomjennings @[email protected] @heisec
