DanielI think what I love about #Mastodon (and Twitter‑like social media) is that when you follow someone, you respect their posts even if you disagree. On Reddit (or forums), a wrong or controversial post feels intrusive—it's right in your face. On Mastodon you follow a human; on Reddit you follow an idea. We accept that humans have flaws, but a wrong idea is harder to tolerate.
