Scientists propose warming Mars with **engineered aerosols**, potentially making it habitable in just **15 years**. 🌌
Models show surface temperatures could rise by **35°C**, allowing **liquid water** to exist. 💧
Challenges remain, including dust storms and aerosol behaviour. #Mars #Space #Terraforming #Astronomy #Science

Instead, guide ice rich asteroids to impact on the leading edge of Mars, to contribute water, to add atmosphere, to increase spin enough to make the Mars core sufficiently plastic to restore both heat and the failed magnetic field.

@kevinrns @matecurkovic That’s the first thing people should say when they hear about terrafarming Mars: what about the radiation that no magnetic field protects the planet from?

@mattijamsa @matecurkovic

Exactly, and "terraforming" without it is deadly.

Second, water missing from Mars is more likely to have "fallen" into Mars because a cooler core doesnt drive water back to the surface like is done so prettily on earth.

Adding water without spin consigns added water to the rocks below surface.
