Wanted to share some of my old drawings, and after browsing through my archives, I felt inspired to reinterprit/refine some of them. I'm enjoying this process so far, so I plan to extend this thread on occasion! More info per piece in the alt text
I chose to remake this piece first because it was my first experiment with scene lighting and taught me some helpful tips. As for the character design, I combined features of cartoony wizards with the general aethstetic of druids

These pieces were both for testing brushes and colouring styles, and were drawn pretty much at the same time, so I found it fitting to draw them together!! Focused on honing their individual shape language to explore that dichotomy 🦈🦈
