"No accordionists!"

"What? Did an accordion bite you when you were a child?"

#accordion

@AccordionBruce @yourautisticlife Three years ago at #cccamp23 - I don't know where the aggressive accordion resides today. It could attack any hater anywhere in the world. Beware!

Thereโ€™s definitely a story there

Like none of the hurdy gurdy players rated a sign?

@AccordionBruce @yourautisticlife @ANDERSTORPSFESTIVALEN Well, the story must be long. Why did the camp guys ban accordions, but not hurdy gurdys? My part of the story is only that I visited the camp with an old secondhand accordion that I didn't want to keep for long anyway (would never take my good ones on vacation). When I noticed the mysterious no-go area, I dropped the accordion before passing. Their tent village, their rules!
@c0c0bird @AccordionBruce @yourautisticlife @ANDERSTORPSFESTIVALEN they never heard hurdy gurdys. The only possible explanation ๐Ÿ˜‰
@skyr @AccordionBruce @yourautisticlife @ANDERSTORPSFESTIVALEN Note: find a hurdy gurdy and bring it to next #cccamp
@c0c0bird @AccordionBruce @yourautisticlife @ANDERSTORPSFESTIVALEN better: Several. Detuned (ok, that will happen automatically ๐Ÿ˜… )

First person I met with her #HurdyGurdy talked about going to #FolkMusic groups where people had never met someone who knew how to tune one

And having to reintroduce the instrument as if to frightened villagers
