#MakersHour
Q1: Hello everyone. Tell us what you have been doing this week, that didn’t work out the way you thought.
#MakersHour
Hello, Sue here. Dinner would have been a proper meal tonight, but we ate out at lunchtime, so dinner is only some toast. That's as unexpected as I can muster!
@suearcher @MakersHour
As my wonderful personal chef was not in the mood for making dinner, I had a ready meal, some fruit, and a cold hotcross bun.
A cold cross bun!
@MakersHour A1 Hello #MakersHour, Kevin here. I'm in and out again this evening, so will probably mostly lurk again.
But this week I've been reading up on things again by way of procrastinating before getting on with another project.
But I did manage my now annual April 1st post, and I quite liked this one - an upgrade to last years attempt! Wasn't as performant as I was hoping though...

Q1: Hello everyone. Tell us what you have been doing this week, that didn’t work out the way you thought.
A1: Greetings! Erm, not sure. I think everything has gone okay this week*. I’ve been a bit sluggish, but that’s normal for me when the clocks change!
*now I’ve gone and bloody cursed it.
@Andy
The enforced jet lag is a pain!
It usually hits me on the second night, and I don't like it.
@MakersHour It’s ridiculous. At 44 years old I should be used to it by now.
Yay for regular income!
@Stratski
There is a lot to be said for a regular income.
Part time work has been a boon for me, 11 years working a 10 hour week. Then I got upgraded with an additional 10 hours a calendar month at a higher rate of pay, a few years ago.
@wokstation
Yay, for the bounceback cat!
@WizardOfDocs
Awww, what a time to be laid off, but, as you say, you have time now. That must really help.
Good luck with it all.
Good luck with the move!
@MakersHour A1. This is Jeff calling in from rather springlike 47 degrees North latitude, and mostly the make in progress is going slowly because it's a first attempt at the pattern and I am not sure whether to add an interfacing layer or what. I will proceed at some point and I can always start again if needed.
A1 well this week I'm hobbling around on crutches, which has really screwed up my plans for making anything this week. And then this evening I missed makershour as I was helping replumb the makerspace. As much as I can help when I can't stand for very long.
Oh, that's lovely, and she does look very happy with it.
