Neurotypicals tend to have shallower depth of focus as ADHD is a condition that moves between hypo- and hyper-focus.

And in a rough sense, the jumpy hypo state is searching for something to go deep on. As a programmer, when I went deep into coding no one could talk with me. -depth of focus was supreme.

On neurosurgeon has Tourettes - a variant on ADHD. Tics and swearing when operating all vanish.
