Obviously, there are some people who believe they should never have been born. And there are certainly other people who are in so much pain, they legitimately wish they had never been born.
But this episode of Watson has someone who is arguing that had he known the truth before he was born, he would never have been born. A truth that no one knew before he was born. It's just such a weird angle that takes such a complicated subject.
Hagahahahahahahahaaha. He's suing the doctor for wrongful life. Because that's the correct term that's close enough to wrongful death, but applies for his life that he doesn't enjoy.
His damages are supposed to be the total sum of his medical costs throughout his entire life, to which one of the fellows says "that must be tens of millions of dollars".
There's so many things wrong with that statement and how she said it that it bugles my mind.
