People who work at @Mastodon recently revised and screwed up our home pages. Before @Mastodon staff made our home pages worse, it was easy to go to my home page, click on Replies, and see the replies that I sent. After they made their unfortunate changes, I do not know how to find the most recent reply that I wrote. It could be impossible to find, now that @Mastodon staff made a good thing much worse.

@RonSupportsYou Yeah, they have received a ton of feedback, and have been very receptive to it.

Not to speak for their team, but I trust that we will see some changes before an official release. (They're still testing and making updates!)

@stefan The sooner that people at Mastodon correct the problem that they caused, the better.

What ways did people send them feedback?

@RonSupportsYou I've mostly seen people just replying to the official announcement.

And I've seen the team responding very thoughtfully, so I think it would be nice to match that tone.

@stefan Thank you.

I never saw their official announcement and I do not know where to find it.

@stefan Thanks again.

@RonSupportsYou You're very welcome!

Like I said, I do think things will still change. And that's what I love about the fediverse. Without investors, developers, admins, and moderators are only accountable to their communities. And they know we can switch servers and platforms any time!

@RonSupportsYou You can use other web clients or other Fediverse software other than Mastodon 😉

@RonSupportsYou

You're posting from @Mastodon dot Social

When you say "our home pages" do you mean Masto dot Social, or another instance that you're not posting from?

What app are you using?

And yes, Masto dot Social runs on a "nightly" build, currently v4.6.0-nightly.2026-04-02

Did you not know that effectively you're a beta tester if you're home on Masto dot Social?

Well. Some might say that's on you...
