Toast, Anonymous Fedi Fungus@nrennie @emjonaitis I found it eventually, but I’m really curious what your trick is. I have a friend who is good at finding them irl. Before that, I had thought they were a myth.
@ShiitakeToast @nrennie The angles formed by four or more leaves coming together are smaller than the angles formed by three leaves. To me, at least, this difference jumps out and can be seen out of the corner of one's eye while scanning as a discontinuity in the pattern. Here, because of the regular rhythm of the grid, this angle difference also affects the shape of the negative space.
