If you get rid of that restriction, they've still got two nines.

@jamesh @0xabad1dea the method of counting reliability by nines is intended to convey its distance to 100% reliability so yes that is what were doing
@Natuwu @0xabad1dea that might be the traditional method, but making half the digits nines must count for something.
If the reliability figure was rounded to five digits, it might even be more than half.
