Meet our mark.

We asked @andycarolan to capture two ideas in one symbol: a tree, for the name Arbory, from Latin *arbor*, and a growth curve, for what the app does.

The result: an emerald circle with layered chevrons rising from the base. Three greens, carefully chosen. Look once and you see a canopy from below. Shift your eye and it becomes an upward trend.

Arbory is a native iOS client for @plausible, made for people who chose privacy on purpose.

@arbory
Sounds like a cool concept but definitely not one I could actually appreciate, because of being colorblind

@HernanLG

Great feedback. What does the icon look like to you? Does the shape still read on its own?

@andycarolan @plausible

@arbory @HernanLG Yes, thanks for the feedback. Would appreciate further details if possible :) @plausible
@andycarolan
I see a circle with a small triangle at the bottom. Thanks for taking interest in this small minority!
@arbory @plausible
@HernanLG Thanks for the feedback. Just so I better understand it, do lower contrast UI items cause the most difficulty? @arbory @plausible
@andycarolan
Sorry, but what is a UI item?
@HernanLG User Interface items. Things like the glass search boxes etc
@andycarolan
Right 👍
I'm not familiar with color terminology, for obvious reasons. But many websites that offer color-blind friendly settings also call them "high contrast" settings
@HernanLG If you have an Apple device, there’s increase contrast, reduce transparency and specific color blindness accessibility settings. @arbory

Happy to chime in here: Accessibility has a first place thoughout the app: There’s options for reduced motion, all colors are chosen with WCAG AA in mind, and we have VoiceOver on each element for the hard of hearing community. :)

@arbory That’s great to hear! @HernanLG
@andycarolan
Good to hear indeed. I just realized this is for iPhones. I don't have an iPhone though. Sorry, I just realized this app is for iPhone only
@arbory
@HernanLG No worries! Well, if you ever do switch over to Apple, there’s some really great accessibility tools available. @arbory
