Okay, so my second dnd character was this reborn smoke genasi (fire on the character sheet) shadow sorceror called Brynn (he/they). He was supposed to be a one-off character for this one-shot in the same campaign setting that Lucas (my tiefling fighter) is from- that ended up setting up the next BBEG, aaaand of course I ended up keeping them because I loved them too much.

So, all the players kind of ended up with two sets of characters that we ended up switching between depending on which mission seemed more like something our character would be interested or likely to get involved with.

So, the story with this character was that they just kind of woke up in the country the one-shot was set it with zero memories. Of course he wanted to look into getting his memories back and see if they could uncover their past. Now, in their time in before the one-shot they spent some time at this university and ended up in a polycule with his two boyfriend.
